Shenanygans are a Swiss-Irish indie rock band based in Solothurn, Switzerland, blending a
unique mix of influences into their energetic live-shows.
They released their debut album "On Monte Verità" in early 2024, capturing widespread
acclaim and propelling them on a tour across Switzerland, with additional stops in the UK
and Ireland. Their breakout single "I Believe In You" received heavy rotation on Swiss radio
and was named "Single of the month“ in July by Swiss Radio und Fernsehen (SRF3). Other
tracks like "Count on Me" and "All the Trippin’ Around" resonated internationally, each
accumulating over 100,000 streams on Spotify. In autumn 2024, Shenanygans extended
their reach with a 12-show tour in Japan, where they further polished and showcased their
dynamic sound.
In early 2025 Shenanygans released a new EP called "3, 2, 1… Action", which includes hit
single “Here Is a Place”. To promote their EP Shenanygans played 15 concerts in Europe,
including gigs in the UK, France, Germany, Italy as well as renowned club Atlantis in Basel,
Switzerland. In Summer 2025 Shenanygans played venues such as Super Bock Stage at the
Montreux Jazz Festival or HOEG SummerCity Festival in Bremen, Germany.
Drawing inspiration from vocal harmonies and garage rock of the '60s and '70s, New Wave
and Britpop of the '80s and '90s, and contemporary artists like Djo and Rex Orange County,
Shenanygans deliver a sometimes nostalgic, other times modern indie rock experience,
offering fans a mix of lyrical depth and musical flow.
